You will then cut and shape your nails to your desired length. In this step, it is best if you file your natural nails in one direction instead of back and forth.
Next, you want to buff the nails lightly to smooth out any bumps or ridges and remove any leftover cuticle debris.
Clean off the nail bed with acetone or alcohol to prep the nail for your base coat.
Now it’s time to get to the fun art part. Use white to paint the tip(free edge) of your nail. The easiest way to achieve the smile line is to lightly paint the brush from one side diagonal to the free edge. Repeat this on the other side.

After creating the perfect smile line, you will want to take a striper brush, dip it in the same white polish, leave a little space for the base color to show, and draw the line to mirror your French curve.
